32nd European Conference of Data protection Authories

Dear Members and Observers of the Conference of European Data Protection Authorities, Dear Colleagues,

The Data State Inspectorate of Latvia was so excited to host this important conference in Riga for the first time. Our warmest thank you to all of you for participating and being together!

Dear Conference participants,

What comes to your mind when thinking about personal data protection?

In collaboration with the Interim Steering Group of the Conference, we have carefully chosen four topics for the closed session and two for the open day. These topics are thoughtfully selected to engage all participants and are sure to spark high interest!

1

In addition to the carefully curated agenda focusing on data protection, Riga offers a captivating backdrop for our conference. Nestled along the banks of the Daugava River, this historic city boasts a rich tapestry of culture, architecture, and innovation. Participants can look forward to immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Riga while exchanging insights and forging connections with fellow professionals from EEA countries and beyond. Whether exploring the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, savoring traditional Latvian cuisine, or discovering the city’s burgeoning tech scene, there is no shortage of experiences to inspire and energize our time together.
