Mrs. Baiba Vitolina has been the Director of the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Centre since 2005. Previously she has been working in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Latvia for more than 10 years – in different positions related with quality assurance, consumer protection and market surveillance and tourism development. Consumer Rights Protection Centre is enforcement authority responsible for consumer rights enforcement, market surveillance and support to consumers. She is actively working also in international cooperation with other world agencies active in International Consumer Protection Enforcement Network.
